Today and every day I am fighting for your rights.  Since I have taken office we have won 105 out of 163 grievances.  49 Members have gotten their jobs back.  I put everything I have into each grievance, doing research into law and interviewing witnesses.  If you are wrongfully terminated, you will be glad that I am on your side.

The past year has been difficult for all of us.  This pandemic has changed the way we live and the way we work.  I have been advocating for you since day 1 and we have negotiated a lot of great benefits such as suspending the attendance policy and increasing disability benefits.  Paid time off for quarantine and paid time off for closures as well (there was even some bonus pay for a while). Many members were able to take extended leaves and voluntary furloughs to care for their own health and the health of their loved ones.  Not to mention we have gotten through without any permanent layoffs.  We can use what we learned from this experience to negotiate language in the future to benefit all of our members.
